WHEN MEN CRY

When you hear distinct shriek
From the corridors of milklessly breasted womb-men,
Liberating lowly howls; rhythms of disturbed worries
At the leagues of muscular brains;
Know that men cry too.

When men cry,
Heaven sits for summit
Debating facts off reasons

When men cry,
The earth shivers in the heat
Beaming from the angry sahara

When men cry,
The oceans would rise
To tell tales to troubled tides

When men cry,
Mothers wail in hopelessness
Children sobs in bleakness

When men cry,
You’d see a smiling woman
A source of resentment

You’d see the picture of hope
Hanged on the colored walls of death
with the frame of regret

Know that our land has fallen
off the map of a peaceful nation
when men cry.

When men cry,
It’s not as it seems. Certainly not weakness
But a shed for hope at the junction of strength
